I am often asked "What is your favorite flavor of jam that you sell?" This question often sends me over the edge and I give up some retarded answer like, 'I don't eat my jam' (the truth,) or 'My fave is Cherry Amaretto Sour" (also the truth) because as any of you who cook on a daily basis know; when you cook it that much, you get sick of eating it. Thank god I am not the maker of Chocolatier Blue or Creminelli Salami or Prarie Breeze Cheese, or, or, or . .
I really don't have a favorite jam, but I do love the flavor of tart Cherries blended with a bit of smooth Amaretto, just a hint of nutmeg, and some sea salt drizzled over a nice juicy pork roast, or some french vanilla ice cream (or lemon sorbet) and even on a nice fresh hunk of Sponge Cake. Mmmmmm...
See ya next time... need to go have a snack.
